After much research, I bought this inexpensive desk lamp, which has met all my needs. Required was a lamp that would light up my entire 4' l x2' d work surface. With limited depth, this lamp has a low profile and fits perfectly at one end of the table while giving all the light needed for various reading tasks. So happy with this purchase.
